College Open House

On November 18, 2015 the College of Engineering had an open house for high school and potential transfer students. At this event, professional organizations representing the students within the college set up booths with information designed to inspire and educate students on their respective field. Approximately 115 students from 20 different high schools and 5 state colleges were in attendance. The ACM-W table inspired a few students to continue their pursuit of a computing degree and spoke with a number of students about the benefits of computing, as well as, the importance of creating a female presence within the computing field.
